Here in Dalmatia we are blessed to have who-knows-how-many locations for practicing this way of climbing since this is a country “with 1200 islands” and interesting thing is that almost every island has vertical or overhanging cliffs on its south side.
Deep Water Solo is becoming very popular in all parts of the world so we have decided to introduce you with the truly unforgettable adventure. Deep water solo is rather new type of rock climbing in which every climb on vertical or overhang route starts and ends from the sea. In Split town we have one of the oldest DWS climbing areas where we will take you and reveal the adrenaline rush while climbing the rocks above crystal clear sea.We will pick you up at the meeting point in the city center and whisk you to DWS location where you will pick up your climbing shoes. From there we will proceed to climbing site where you will get all the information about the routes and climbing techniques from our experienced climbing guides. You can choose your own level of climbing difficulty while our guides will give you all the support with their local and climbing knowledge. The photos from the tour will be a long lasting memory of great spent day in Split.
Deep water solo tour Split
Location : Sustipan or Kašjuni beach depending on the previous climbing experience
Level: for all level of previous experience
Duration: 3 h
Price per person: 40 euro ( for the group tour 2 people and more )
Minimum number of pax: 2
Price per person for One on One option : 60 euro
Date & time : 1.4.-31.5.2018. at 10:00 h / 1.6.- 31.8. 9:00 & 15:00 h / 1.9.- 31.10. at 10:00 (depending on the summer season and weather conditions )/ this tour can be booked as private on request
Meeting point & Time: Saint Francis church / Trg Franje Tuđmana 1 / at the end of Riva Promenade 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
Recommendation: Please bring a towel, bathing suit, hat, sunglasses, spare t-shirt, sunscreen, refreshing drink (minimum 1,5 l) and underwater camera.
Price includes: Professional tour guide, education on climbing and safety, climbing shoes , insurance, transfer from and to the meeting point ( Split city center ), photos from the tour.
Price does not include: snack
Minimum age : 14;Please let us know if there will be children on the tour as they must be accompanied by the adults.
Not recommended for people with back problems and non swimmers
